Is MTIGA really free?
Yes. MTIGA is a community-driven project. We don't sell your data or charge for protection. Our goal is a cleaner, safer web for everyone.
How does the "Sentinel ID" work?
When you install the extension, a unique, anonymous UUID is generated. This ID gains reputation as you provide accurate flags. No personal information is ever linked to your ID.
Will it slow down my browser?
No. MTIGA is built with Manifest V3 and uses aggressive 24-hour caching to ensure that risk checks are near-instant and have zero impact on your browsing speed.
What is "Knowledge Rescue"?
It's our system for flagging stale documentation or deprecated code. If you find a blog post or stack overflow answer that no longer works, you can flag it to save the next developer's time.
Where can I find the browser extensions?
You can find MTIGA on the Chrome Web Store and the Firefox Add-ons marketplace. Links are available on the home page.
Is there another way to submit stale or scam sites?
Yes, you can use the URL Checker on our home page or use the "Contribute" section to add new sites directly to the Sentinel database.
